Bridge Optimizer™ offers advanced analytics capabilities and multi-objective optimization techniques to create long-term network-level preservation plans under different scenarios. Optimal project lists are generated on an annual basis based on maximizing condition improvement, minimizing risk levels, and minimizing lifecycle costs, subject to agency-specific preservation policies, financial constraints, and desired performance targets.

Bridge Optimizer™ enables bridge engineers to optimize the allocation of limited preservation funding and making evidence-based decisions on replacement and rehabilitation projects. It also allows evaluating annual budget requirements to achieve certain condition or risk levels and to perform comprehensive trade-off (or “what if?”) analysis to assess the impact of various funding scenarios on the condition and risk levels of the bridge inventory.
